Nissan GTR
If you’ve never heard of the GTR, be prepared for a shock: It’ll top 300 km/h, do 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, and over 1g in a corner. It’s the most expensive Nissan sold to date in North America, at $81,900, but is actually the fifth generation of the company’s Skyline GTR range, previously sold mostly in Japan. With this beast, superlatives are necessary, as its combination of a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, more than 470 horsepower, twin-clutch clutchless gearbox, and all-wheel-drive mean that in any weather the car is ready to perform. And, for slower moments, a leather interior, navigation system, Bose stereo, and adjustable suspension will keep things just comfortable enough. A jaw-dropping super-performing car.
