It can be retracted, fold-style, onto the rear deck behind the rear seat. Or, unlike any other soft top, it can be retracted partially – making a cloth top sunroof. Brilliant. This is the last year in Canada for the convertible, with a new model coming next year – but it won’t be substantially different than the current car. Engines are a choice of brisk (2.0-litre four-cylinder) or boombastic (1.6-litre supercharged four-cylinder). And bring a boxed lunch when it comes time to option out your pint-sized ‘vert: the options are nearly limitless.
